Technical
The first three of these technical books - Instrument Techniques, Dinghy Systems and A Sailor's Guide... - were the first books published, the final two overlapped with the first novel.
Unfortunately the demise of Waterline means that those three earlier books are now out of print, although they can sometimes still be found on chandlery shelves.
Fortunately, Fernhurst's continued existence as part of John Wiley & Sons means that The Secrets of Sailboat Racing and Sails for Cruising - Trim to Perfection are both still going strong.
